Insert for sandwich panel:

The threaded insert for sandwich panel by Juno Industries, type Deform-Nut® TC/SC/1 is the ideal solution for sandwichpanels with thicknesses from 10 up to 80mm.

The TC/SC threaded insert is the compromise between expensive potted inserts and simple rivet nuts that can only be as strong as the bonding between the skin and the core of a sandwich panel.

Description

How to get thread in a sandwich panel?

The threaded insert for sandwich panel with flat collar is the ideal solution for skin thicknesses from 0,5 up to 2,0mm.

The strength of this threaded insert for sandwich panel solution lays in the combination of the mechanical riveting of the rivet nut on the skin and the bonding by adhesive of the adjustable part in the core of the sandwich panel.

The threaded insert for sandwich panel type TC/SC/1 has 2 seperate parts; at the one hand the rivet nut and a blind grub screw with slot that enable the smooth mounting in the riveted rivet nut. That grub screw needs to be screwed in untill the bottom of the core (and the applied adhesive) is reached.

This double fastening ensures that the threaded insert for sandwich panel wont easily flip over in the core.

TC/SC insert in stainless steel or steel zinc plated

The threaded insert for sandwich panel is available in M6 & M8 innerthread in steel zinc plating and stainless steel 303.
