The male stud bonding fastener not perforated Master-Plate®, type PRY is a metal threaded stud that can be glued on all kinds of material from composites, metal, wood, thermoplastic plastics, natural stone up to glass.
You save more then 50% adhesive in comparison with the perforated bonding fasteners!
What is a male stud bonding fastener?
The male stud bonding fastener of Specialinsert®, type Master-Plate® PRY is a metal fastener that can be glued on all kinds of material from composites, metal, wood, thermoplastic plastics, natural stone up to glass because the studs are welded on a base plate that ensures a large surface and therefor create a solid fastening.
The standard studs of the male stud bonding fastener not perforated start from M4 to M8 in steel zinc plating or stainless steel 316L.
Thanks to the non-perforated base plate, the male stud bonding fastener not perforated will be firmly anchored to the receiving material as the adhesive is forced against the bottom of the base plate. The round spacers that have a height of 0,5mm ensure the rigth amount of adhesive and nothing more! Tests have shown that more then 50% of adhesive is saved and a more constant quality of the bonding is achieved.
Heavy load application?
Recently a stronger version has been introduced of this male stud bonding fastener not perforated that uses a chamfered headed bolt that is welded on to the base plate, the model PRSY. These are available from M5 up to M10.
Male stud bonding fastener in stainless steel 316 and in steel zinc plating!
Both versions PRY and PRSY exist in stainless steel 316 that performs better in chemical agressive surroundings and also in steel zinc plating.
Always check the right adhesive to use in function of the materials, temperatures, humidity and chemicals that can come in contact during the life of your application.
Other combinations remain possible as Specialinsert® welds all pieces in their own factory!
