Inner hexagon Rampa insert type SKDZ

Rampa wood screw-insert, type SKDZ with inner-hexagon drive, sealing collar, unthreaded lead and conical outerthread to facilitate mounting.
Description
Rampa wood screw-insert type SKDZ can be mounted without special tooling in softer wood.
Thanks to the unthreaded lead, the insert will fall into position before starting to screw, what ensures mounting in the rigth angle (that follows the drilled hole).
Available from M4 up to M10 in die cast or zamak, yellow zinc plating. (Zamak is a family of alloys with a base metal of zinc and alloying elements of aluminium, magnesium, and copper.)

What should I take into account when using an internal hex screw-in insert?
Be aware that the inner hexagon, although very practical for installation, does reduce the effective length of the internal thread. With short types or inserts made of zamak, this may result in a less wear-resistant or less strong metal threaded connection.
In which materials can I use Rampa inserts?
Primarily wood (solid, plywood, particle board, MDF), plastics (ABS, PA, POM, composites), and light metals when the insert with the right geometry is choosen accordingly.
